Thespian Honor Society

Advisor:  Mr. Thomas Austin

Purpose:  The International Thespian Society is the honor society for secondary school theatre students.  Meritorious work in theatre arts that meets the society's general guidelines grants membership. This organization is the pride and support of the entire theatre department here at Newfield High School.  Thespian induction is a great motivator for students to become more active in their school's theatre program.  Students meet one important induction requirement by earning Thespian points.  Activities include marching in homecoming parade, Trick-or-Treat Street, and fundraisers for causes.
